We are FAMILY!!

On Tuesday the 27th it became official - Avery is ours! The court went well and I was in tears of course.
This photo was taken just before we left the baby house. It has taken some time to get online since Avery only wants to be held by me. She is adjusting well and hopefully soon she will really warm up to Ryan otherwise I may need to sleep for a month after we are home.
She is a busy girl and loves to get into everything. She is eating and sleeping good.
We are enjoying our first few days of parenting.

We have been home from Russia for 4 weeks now. I had said if we had to wait this long I'd never make it, but God has given strength beyond measure. We will continue to trust His timing.
Avery is now 15 months old and has no doubt learned some new tricks that we can't wait to see. It won't be long now. (The mantra I have been saying for over a year now)
Our paperwork is in Russia. The new homestudy may still be getting translated, but after that it goes to the necessary officials. Then we will have our court date!
